538°C (1000°F) MTG  Flexing Oil Resistant Lead Wire 600/300 Volt

MTG Flexing oil resistant cable is engineered for applications where the cable is expected to continuously flex and bend in appliances such as commercial popcorn machines, clam shell type waffle bakers, and other extremely demanding applications where the cable delivers power to heating mechanisms in  continuous bending and flexing conditions in the worst of applications.

MTG utilizes a fused PTFE moisture/vapor barrier that is laminated to the under side of a braid to prevent the migration of fluids, oils, etc. This technology also eliminates the itching and dermatitis that often is associated with glass braid jacketed lead wires. Available also in multi-conductor cables as shielded pairs, triads, or with an overall shield, or with thermocouple alloys. Braided  304 stainless steel jacket, stainless steel interlocked armor or CLX armor available overall when the cable will likely experience abnormal physical abuse.

MTG incorporates a proprietary outer jacket that prevents the migration of oils and other fluids in the presence of heat and continuous flexing applications. Thermal Wire and Cable, LLC utilizes an extra flexible stranded Grade A (Pure  Nickel) conductor (Nickel-Plated Copper available upon request).

MTG is continuously temperature rated to -450°C (250°C MTG also available). MTG is resistant to temperature excursions exceeding 2800°F and will continue to  operate even after exposure to 2000°F for over 7 hours. The insulating system  is composed of inorganic materials that will not melt or flow at temperatures  up to 3000°F. ETL 1093°C circuit integrity flame test report available upon request.

MTG is available as a standard color in tan and fully pigmented primary colors are also available upon request.

Military M-WRAP Now In Stock

Thermal Wire and  Cable, LLC is currently supplying the cables for the military M-WRAP project and are actively involved with the next generation designs. Thermal Wire and Cable, LLC is on the cutting edge for the fire suppression cross-linked polyolefin sensor cable. This multiple conductor sensor is designed for large off road vehicles for the military and large mining operations. These cables pass an independent laboratory test for both the Tensile strength and elongation tests at 180C continuous temperature testing for 168 hours, (this gives the cable a 150C rating), while retaining 146% of its tensile strengths and 147% elongation. This makes the cable have the high temperature, chemical resistant and flexible properties that is hard  to find with any other materials.
